Welcome to Furry Friends Academy for a unique boarding experience. This is not just another kennel!
Multiple rooms with varying kennel capacities offer flexibility to meet our guest’s different needs.
Dogs have a host of spaces and places they can board comfortably within the
5,500 square feet indoor facility.
Kennels are spacious and clean.
Floors of kennels are mopped daily and any mistakes are cleaned immediately.
Indoor climate is controlled and well lit.
In addition to central heat and air, industrial ceiling fans are used to keep fresh
air moving.
The use of glass windows and doors plus Dutch-doors provides an open feeling.
This also allows staff to see how our guests are doing without the disruption
caused by physically walking through the area.
Furry Friends Academy encourages owners to make your pet feel at home during their stay.
You are encouraged to bring your pet’s favorite bed or blanket and favorite toy
as this helps reduce the separation anxiety that pets often experience when they
are away from you and their home.
We also strongly encourage owner’s to bring your pet’s food and feeding
instructions so there is as little disruption to your pet’s normal routine as possible.
This is also important because most pets require time for their systems to adjust
to different food and you hate to add this factor when they are already anxious
about new surroundings.
Furry Friends Academy provides clean and safe food and water bowls for each of our guests.
Furry Friends provides the bowls for food and water and we believe in keeping
the water available for our guests at all times unless there is a physical limitation.
Dogs are let out to play and complete their business a minimum of five times per day.
This not only makes boarding at Furry Friends a joy for our guests but we find
happy and well exercised pets are quiet and peaceful during periods of rest.
There are 5,000 feet of outside space that is fenced and cleaned several times a
day. There is also a 2,500 square feet indoor play area.
Staff is on the premises 24 hours, seven days a week, even if we have only one guest.
This is a commitment we make because we would want this for our pets and we
believe this approach offers the quality of care we want Furry Friends Academy
to represent.
Furry Friends Academy does not charge more for larger dogs to board.
Our philosophy is that each dog boarding at Furry Friends is our special guest.
Large or small, each guest will be let out the same amount of times and will be
played with by staff unless there are physical limitations. Our commitment is to
create an exceptional boarding experience, not to charge for space!
